Two genuine focuses, each given real time: multiple safaris across tiger and leopard territory, and unhurried, habitat-led birding sessions across the reserve's forest, grassland and water habitats — not one squeezed into the other.
The Details
Three wildlife safari shifts across the trip, plus two dedicated birding sessions run outside the standard safari-shift structure where reserve rules allow. Forest Department safari permit fees are not included in the package price and are payable separately at actual rates.
Tiger, leopard and core mammal species per the standard safari; resident and (in winter) migratory bird species during dedicated sessions. See Wildlife and Birding.
Both safari and birding sessions accommodate photographers; see Wildlife Photography for more on safari vehicle arrangements if that's a priority.
Breakfast and dinner included with accommodation. Local transfers can be arranged at an additional cost. Please enquire for availability and a quotation. Transfers from Delhi, Gurugram, Jaipur, Alwar and Agra can be arranged subject to availability and are quoted separately.
FAQs
It works best for travellers who genuinely want dedicated birding time, not just a tiger safari with birds as an afterthought — if that's not you, the Wildlife Explorer may fit better.
Guests are welcome to bring their own binoculars, scopes and other birding equipment. Ajay carries birding binoculars. Additional equipment may be available on request, subject to prior confirmation; availability is not guaranteed.
Slower-paced, on foot where permitted or by vehicle in grassland/water areas, focused on quality time over covering ground — see our full Birding page.
